Living in the Here & Now
Residential Retreat -
October 17-19, 2008
Cost is $325
It is a gift to
ourselves to set aside time from our busyness to reconnect with
ourselves and with life. An Awakening retreat is about opening into
that place of healing and renewal, and learning ways to continue to
live from there as we go back into our daily lives.
Two
powerful tools that aid us in re-awakening to this sacred and
mysterious process we call life are keen attention and the healing
balm of mercy. When we put these two together, we have compassionate
curiosity, the art of being open and available to all that life
offers us.
This 2-night retreat will be
held at Wellspring, a beautiful retreat center
in Ashford, Washington. Wellspring is a place uniquely suited for
healing and renewal. Located at the foot of Mt. Rainier in a
beautiful wooded setting, it offers a mountain lodge surrounded by
cozy cabins, hot tubs, and an outdoor labyrinth.
Please Note: We will share in the preparation of our meals in
the Lodge kitchen. Depending on the number of
people who register, you will be part of a team
of 2-3 people responsible for providing and
preparing one meal. Local attendees will
coordinate with those from out-of-state.
To
register, click on the
Living In the Here and Now link above, scroll to the

Waking Up In Paradise Retreat -
February 21-27, 2009
Cost
is $1875 for the retreat, room and meals
Travel is separate and you need to make your own
arrangements.
Do you dream of a time of deep
relaxation and renewal? Do you long to enjoy
the beauty and peace of nature, to play in the
warm sun of a tropical paradise? This retreat offers you all of
this and more. The smells, the colors, the
sounds and the wildlife all conspire to invite
you back into the magical presence of life. Take
time out of your busy schedule to reconnect with
yourself and with life. It is a true gift to
yourself, and there is no better setting than
the Hawaiian Islands, where life makes love to
life.
The focus of the retreat is on learning how to
show up for whatever life brings in each moment.
In that process, we will have times of silence
and times of exploring together ideas and skills
that invite us back into life. We will share
both our wisdom and the challenges of learning
to quiet our minds and open our hearts.
There will be some meditation. The emphasis,
however, is not on meditation techniques,
but rather on learning how to wake up the
natural curiosity of the mind so that we can
more fully experience each moment of our lives.
The
retreat will be held at
Hui Ho'olana, a beautiful retreat center on
the island of Molokai. Located on 100
acres, Hui Ho'olana sits on a hill called Pu'u
Kolea. With panoramic views of the Pacific
Ocean and nearby islands, the center is
surrounded by trees, fragrant flowers, luscious
ferns, spacious open lawns, and scenic hiking
trails providing an ideal environment for inspiration
and a safe haven for the growth and nurturing of
the spirit.
Registration
for this transformational, tropical retreat is
limited to 18 people. The cost is $1875. A
deposit of $500 ($200 is non-refundable) will
reserve your space. To
register, please click on the Registration Form
link below, fill-in and submit the form. You
will then be taken to a page with payment
options.
The
full amount is due December 1, 2008.
There will be no refunds for cancellations made
less than 60 days before the retreat begins, but
the amount paid prior to cancellation may be
applied to a future retreat (minus $200).
